I saw Yuna for a lactation consultant for my 1 week newborn. She completed a very thorough evaluation for me as well as my son. Considering I'm a first time mom, she gave me great tips on how to maintain my supply without triggering overproduction, as well as general breast feeding tips. She was able to give me an idea of how much my son was drinking over what time frame so I could have a better idea of how long to expect him to feed for. This was extremely reassuring as I worried he was falling asleep before hitting his recommended nutritional intake. Lastly, her lactation massage is amazing. She found a few clog ducts and was able to massage them out. I greatly regret not seeing her sooner- especially when I was battling severe engorgement during the transitional phase. I highly recommend Yuna for anyone breastfeeding or pumping!

I had back pain towards the end of my pregnancy, which was greatly reduced with the help of prenatal massage.

The lactation consulting I had was wonderful as well. With the help of the lactation consultation, I learned the importance of breastfeeding and how to breastfeed correctly. I realized once again that lactation consultation before giving birth is beneficial for both mother and child.

Yuna is amazing! She helped me with my breastfeeding and pumping journey by helping me find the correct flange size, massaging out my clogged ducts that was impairing my milk supply, seeing my baby’s latching, checking for tongue ties. I’ve had two lactation consultation so far with Yuna. I wanted to breastfeed my baby but due to problems I was facing such as having a strong let down reflex that my baby was crying a lot at and having milk blister with terrible pain that went on for almost for two month, I thought I needed to give up. However, Yuna provided me couple of thoughtful and knowledgeable solutions to resolve the issues. I am happily breastfeeding my baby for ~7 month now and hoping to have more sessions with her in the future if any other problems come up. It’s great to know where I can go when I have lactation issues!
