Last week we had some bad luck with one of the teachers. The advanced group had a fantastic morning and a great instructor from The Netherlands. The beginners group had a bad teacher. Normally he did the advanced groups and now he was stuck with us rookies (and apparently he wasn't happy with it or had a very bad day). Explanation of exercies was minimalistic. After about an hour he splitted the (beginners) group in two and sent half of the group up one level to the nassereinlift (drag lift) and left us alone for an hour with minimal instructions and no supervision at all.

After two ours we went up the mountain with the gondola. Did the Gampenlift 2 twice. Again with minimalistic explanation.... Just follow me! After that said bye and ended the 'class' on the mountain. Two stars because the advanced group had a fantastic morning. I know we had to complain right away after the lessons, but we where just flabbergasted.

I do recommend the skischule because other groups with teachers in the same outfit seem to have a great time.

I had my first ever skiing lesson with Michael Kaspar at skischule arlberg. It was a brilliant experience. Michael was able to help me make great progress in our 3 hour lesson. He gave me confidence and developed my technique quickly during our session. He was patient, creative, methodical and paid attention to detail in his teaching approach. Very good value for money. I am very happy with my experience.

I took two group lessons with Robert and I couldn't rate him highly enough. Both days he organised the lessons really well and gave constructive feedback throughout. I also liked the fact that they assess you at the beginning of the first lesson and then decide what group you should be in. I thoroughly enjoyed both days, thank you Robert.

Extremely frustrating experience after we were put in a group we felt was below our level. The head instructor (Michael) made us do a 'test' consisting of going down a 10m long bunny slope, and decided we belonged in a beginner group, despite us being capable of skiing reds and blacks.

We wasted the good part of the day in a beginner class, despite paying good money for it. We raised this issue to Michael, was was extremely arrogant and condescending, going as far as telling us he 'saw us snow ploughing down slopes when' which is complete nonsense.

It is a shame, because the other instructors were good and friendly. I would not return here, especially if management (Michael in particular) are the same. Please respect your customers time and money.
